Fausto's Favorites: Baby Teeth

Some of our brand new Feast of Fools fans have written in and asked about Baby Teeth, the fabulous rock and roll band we play feverishly on our show. WHERE can I get their hit songs? Just click on the link below and buy it from iTunes for 99 cents! It's just that easy. Support your indie artists.
Whoo... woo indeed.

Click here for "Dream" by Baby Teeth

Also, visit their website to see when they are playing next in Chicago (or a town near you.) These guys are going to be really BIG someday, and I'm not talking about the extra fat in your midsection that comes from getting older.

Fausto's Favorites: The Geri Jewell of Baltimore

Defekto, a.k.a. Jim Lucio, who bills himself as a party promoter, graphic designer, and artist based out of Baltimore, is a man after my own heart. The picture of the right is of his character named Wilma Martinez. Love the rotten teeth, the crazy wig, and operatic makeup.

He has a wonderful website-comic book, as well creating his "nightclub shows." HILARIOUS.

Here is a link to his fllickr site.

Your face is a weapon against disease.

On todays podcast, we talked about Madonna's face being licensed for a brand of "Madonna" condoms. Here's the link to the Condomania site. I think having the icy image of a young Madonna Ciccone on a condom is probably more effective in keeping sex from happening in the first place, and therefore very effective as a contraceptive device. Even Gene Simmons has his own brand, which even seems a bit gay even for me.

I wonder what birth control products are being considered to be licensed by other celebrities (living or dead)? A Orson Welles branded sponge? A Barbara Streisand branded vasectomy? How about Elvis Presley birth control pills?

(Thanks Victor!)

Hard to belive, but true.

The iPod accessories company PodGear has released a new product that allows you to convert your iPod or iPod mini into a electric shaver. Is this a hoax?

From the company's website:" The launch of the PodShave enables iPod users to free their stubble whilst listening to their favourite music, not only this but as the shaving device runs directly from the iPod battery, hairy friends are able to shave almost anywhere – be it in the high street, on the Tube or just relaxing at home. PodShave’s superb design simply clips on to the top of the iPod and gives instant shaving delight, not only this but it collects all loose hair via its vacuum like stubble collector!"

Would be great to have a photo of Madge shaving her legs with one of these. Would make a great Birthday Present for Madge Weinstein! (Her birthday was March 30th).

Are you a Woman of Luna™ ?

My favorite bar is a Lemon Zest, while Madge likes Sesame Raisin Crunch, which has now been dis-CUNT-tinued! Horrors.

I consider these some of the most delicious "low sugar" candy bars anywhere. We used to eat them twice a day when I worked as a graphic designer with my lesbian friends at the Archdiocese of Chicago.

Every bar has a small dedication to a Luna Bar Lady. I heard that Madge hoards boxes and boxes of these bars, and doesnt share them with anyone. What's your favorite Luna Bar?
