Chicago is a city full of diversity, but is it a segregated diversity? In the Uptown neighborhood you can find many people speaking languages from all around the world. It’s also next door to one of the largest gay and predominantly white neighborhoods in America, Lakeview. Is it “Ebony & Ivory, living in perfect harmony” or just “Strangers in the Night, exchanging glances?”
Today we’re talking to Terrence Chappell the fashion editor for UR Chicago’s Online Magazine, nightlife reporter for Boi magazine and editor-at-large for Pretty Boy Magazine, a new a lifestyle quarterly aimed towards young men, launching June 26.
Terrence joins us to chat about about bringing our worlds together and how we can embrace diversity inside our own community.
Summer’s here and he’s also sharing with us some fashion tips on how to dress your best on a budget.
