Release the Pressure! In Spanish, it means “¡Saca la presion!”
That sexy slogan comes from Steamworks, one of the largest gay bathouse chains in the world.
You’ve heard it on our show from time to time over the past year because they’ve been one of our largest sponsors and biggest advocates.
If it wasnt for support of companies like them, we wouldnt be able to put out as many shows or to maintain our website or our equipment. Their support and your support is what makes it all possible.
We’ve gotten a lot of letters from you (male and female listeners) who are curious to know just what is it like inside a gay men’s bathhouse?
As a way of saying thanks, we decided to take the microphone inside the building and talk to some of the employees who work to makes the bathhouse run smoothly.
We went ahead and brought in the microphones and cameras to capture for you the inside of Steamworks! What’s it like? It’s not as scary as you think. The hot guys who hang out there are what makes it exciting.
For many men, places like Steamworks provide them with the ability to escape the outside world and enter a sexualized space where they can meet other. It’s there for community, or as they say in their ads, to work out, have fun and play. And by play, we mean have sex.
Click here to follow along the sound-seeing tour with our Steamworks photo gallery: [Safe for work]

Steamworks works hard to create a healthy atompshere where men practice responsible sexual practices. They provide Free HIV testing and education about HIV/STDs and AIDS to their guests, helping them to lead active, healthy, normal sex lives. They encourage people to be responsible, and to use condoms. What’s not to love about Steamworks?
It’s not for everyone, but it’s nice to know it’s there. Listen as we talk with the sexy and smart Nirmalpal Sachdev, Director of Health Information and Education Programs for Steamworks.
What do you do when you’re attracted to someone at gay bathouse? Playing hard and playing safe- do’s and don’ts. Douching tips, Windy City Blowholes and Bears, oh my! Special shout-out to Curtis Jensen, who we just know would have loved to have been part of the tour.
Releasing the pressure one podcast at a time- Feast of Fools.

You gotta understand, we’re all inspired into a frenzy by the Cher/Tina Turner/Kate Smith Beatles medley that’s getting passed around the internet lately like the ebola virus.
Join us on a magical mystery [...]

In the 1960’s some hippies came up with a counter cultural religion based on eastern hindu/buddism, [...]

What was odd about the event was the lack of Asian people. There were high school hip-hop [...]
