Sanjaya may be gone from American Idol, but his career is far from over. We’re always on the lookout for hot trends that are just around the corner and we see this train coming from a mile away.
You heard it here first people! Believe it or not, high-pitched, angelic male voices are going to be hot hot hot in the coming months culminating in Rick Ashley and Barry White remixes sped up to artificially make them sound like chipmunks. But the real money is going to be in the attic, as artists like Chris Garneau, Jay Brannan, Jeff Hanson and yes, even Sanjaya all fighting for the top spot of the gender ambiguous sounding charts.
Get those mohawks ready people, going high is going to be big.
In other news, Scotty is FINALLY getting beamed up, for real. Deceased actor James Doohan, well known for his portrayal of the Scottish technician “Scotty” in the original Star Trek series is going into outer space. Well, at least an gram of his ashes are. Does everyone who was on Star Trek get to have their ashes sent into outer space? Just think, in the future years Whoopi Goldberg’s ashes can be scattered across the stars. We hope that day is long away.
Join Amanda Steinstein, Marc Felion and me Fausto Fernós as we talk about how politicians are invading online social networks, the controversial sculptures of Daniel Edwards and why grocery store “half cakes” still count as a cake, in volume it does.

April 30, 2007 at 03:34I have to say that I fully agree with Fausto with regards to verb conjugation. Although French is my first language, I’ve had to go through French verb conjugation about 4-5 times through my school career. Not only is it tedious, but it’s so overly complicated that I’ve never been able to memorize it. I can write it out properly if I’m just writing out a paragraph or something, but if I’m asked to conjugate a specific verb in a specific format, just off the top of my head, there’s no way that I can remember it.
