Somebody must have snuck in a file inside a cake! Believe it or not, Paris Hilton is out of jail. She didn’t break out however. The 24 year old hotel heiress (not affiliated with the Hilton Hotel chain according to the chain) is out on a medical condition and will be spending the rest of her 40 day sentence under house arrest, or in her case mansion arrest.
UPDATE: Paris’ release from jail might be a little short lived, as she is now being asked to return to court.

Seriously, it’s a memoir about her relationship with her dad, who ran the family funeral parlor and was an English professor (with some other secret extracurriculars on the side), and about her own coming out process. It’s littered with gay and/or literary allusions. Great storytelling.
And it just came out in paperback. Run, don’t walk, to your nearest locally-owned independent feminist bookstore, and buy a copy today! (god, I’m such a lesbian)

Perspectives into the Erotic Care & Training of the Human Dog” by Michael Daniels, featuring a short story by yours truly. I think “Woof!: A Gay Man’s Guide to Dogs” sounds like a great book, but can you imagine the hilarity when Amazon mixes the two titles up during shipping? LOL!
