Feast of Potter- the PotterCast!

Okay, typically I don’t put the entry photos this big, but I just HAD to blow up this one.

We just caught the latest Harry Potter movie “Order of the Phoenix” and like all the rest, it won’t fail to satisfy the fans and delight movie goers everywhere.

In this next installment of the JK Rowling book series/films, Harry Potter struggles to the the skeptical wizard world of arch-villian Voldemort’s return.

One good thing about the latest film is that it features plenty of scenes of Daniel Radcliffe moaning in his bed, waking up in a pool of sweat. The idea here is to portray anxiety, but we just know that people are going to start re-editing the film footage to make their own “slash” version of the movie, where presumably Harry Potter is turn on or gay.

We can be sure to see more “Brokeback” edits of Harry Potter (click here to see one.)

I can imagine that it might be hard for the fans to watch this film based on the fifth book of the seven book series when the final one will be out on July 21. What will it be like to watch the next couple of films knowing how the story will end?

Stay tuned to hear Marc’s review of the final book and our video interview of fans waiting in line to buy the book.

Join Amanda Steinstein, Marc Felion and me Fausto Fernós as we talk about Paula Abdul’s struggle to not overextend herself and come out looking sane, anti-sex toilets in Florida, unsettling shaped traffic posts and the return of the Village People’s cop.

ATTENTION CHICAGO LISTENERS! Join me tonight at 10pm at Crew as Erik Sosa and I judge the Chicago Mr. Gay competition.

Everybody loves the FOF.

that brokeback/harry potter spoof you guys have linked is so funny

You need to make a mp3 clip of Amanda getting excited when her phone rang.

“Oh wait a minute, Thats mine! This could be important, I’ll be right back.”

I want that as my ring tone.

I’m still a show behind so I haven’t heard this show yet. You guys had to work hard to make it better than the album art picture, though. Fausto you’re the shit when it comes to Photoshop (or is that “Fausto, you’re A shit when it comes to Photoshop” — either works, i guess).

Speaking of ice age mammoths…
Friends of our family excavated a 36,000-year-old frozen bison near my hometown. He’s called “Blue Babe,” and he really is blue! I’ve seen him many times at the University of Alaska - Fairbanks Museum.

I’m glad to hear that he has some company down in sunny CA…

Okay, I’m gonna make this all about me for just a moment. I have been having a strange week. I don’t know why but I’ve been very emotional with a lot of ups and downs. I used to be the sort of person who could be feeling really great and then a single word or action could send me into a tailspin of depression. These days I’ve really worked to reverse that, or “Flip That Shit”, as it were. Today was a perfect example. I messed myself up at the gym yesterday and my back was in a lot of pain. I had nightmares all night and work up stiff, sore and upset. I dragged myself into my car this morning running late, and feeling really crappy. I put in Feast of Fools as I always do, and when Marc said that me and Buzz have “wet nightmares” I immediately burst into peals of laughter, so much that I felt worlds better. I got to work with a smile on my face, despite the best efforts of a myriad of garbage trucks, wacko LA drivers and construction vehicles all working to ruin my morning. You guys made my whole day. Thank you.

Okay, I’m done. We now return you to your regularly scheduled comments.

Messed up? For a minute I thought you crapped in your pants. Fortunately back problems are not the worst thing I’ve ever seen at the gym. One time I SAW a guy slam his dumbells on another set of dumbells (a big no no) and his little finger came FLYING off! There was blood everywhere. Of course, NOBODY cleaned up the trail of blood for HOURS. Gyms can be a bit unsanitary.

The moral of the story is always lift in an area that is clutter free and tidy, and lift weights you can control.

I’m so glad that Marc made you feel good Buzz! I love how the “Feast of Potter” poster parody came out.

Fausto,
Great Photoshop work. You guys look terrific as our young wizard heroes. Plus, I love Marc’s ginger hair.
Glen and I are going to see Harry Potter at the IMAX. The end is supposed to be in 3-D!

I mentioned this before but I saw there is a gay porno parody of Harry Potter called Hairy Pucker and the Gobs of Goo.

pucker and goo? eeew.

Fausto, that sounds really nasty. You’re lucky you didn’t slip on it and fall.

Blood on the gym foor. Sounds like the name of a bad country song. LOL!

okay, I have upped my cardio to 50 minutes per day. I need you all to hang on a little longer. You were att 44 minutes today. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! I suggest an hour of your fun banter :-)

God i love that picture you made.. really funny..

I’ve not been able to listen for a while, but the site looks awesome!

The Picture makes me want to see a movie of your version a lot more then the real one….
also I’ve been trying to comment and stuff on your myspace and it hasn’t been working….is something wonky with it I need to fix?

That picture is priceless! Fausto you are a Photoshop Master!

Mmm slash fanfiction. I will admit that 75% of my life is devoted to slash fanfiction. I’ve dabbled in the HP fandom, but I’m much more into House slash, because everyone knows that House and Wilson aren’t just “best friends.”

Catherine, dearest…I am DYING to read your House/Wilson fanfic…I don’t normally go in for fanfic, but damn if they don’t make a fine couple. Remember in season two when Wilson moved in temporarily? That was so hot. Especially when Wilson finally gave in and joined in the nasty pranks by sawing partway through the cane. I knew House wasn’t keeping Wilson around just for his cooking.

Amanda, if you ask, you shall receive. I personally don’t write it, I just read it, but the House/Wilson shipping community on LiveJournal is a great source for it. Here are some rec lists people have made:
