Sal-E out in publicThe internet definitively may be the new face of democracy, but it needs a bit of a touch up. I don’t know if you saw the CNN/YouTube Democractic Presidential Debates last night, but it was quite a hoot! It’s fair to say that ALL the Democratic candidates seem strong, intelligent and a great choice to put in the oval office.

And it was wonderful to see them squirm and struggle to make sense of the questions posed by YOU as in Time Magazine’s Person of the Year. There were some great questions, like the ones posed by Cecilia Smith on the minimum wage or the Rev. Reggie Longcrier on religion as a justification for bigotry.

I think about things. Those were the good ones that YouTube and CNN had to stay up till late in the night to find. I have to say these were some of the most entertaining debates yet, making them feel more like a lively re-run of the Match Game than a dry C-SPAN feed video.

But what about the questions they DIDN’T pick? You know YouTube was practicaly begging the good people of the world (and by world, we mean world wide web) to come up with some halfway decent videos. After all, they didn’t pick these guys:

• Dardenne   • Sam Barron from New Jersey   • Steve Nielsen
• Cubefarm Kim   • D-Wizzo aka the Dubbs aka Big Bad Carlo   • College Dan

Join Sal-E and me, Fausto Fernós as we talk about the song lyric contest for the opening theme.

How do you tell a friend has bad breath? Any tips or advice? An update on Tina Torch’s facelift and Sal-E’s impossible costumes. GLBT folks need to take a lesson from the NAACP and have a funeral for the word “Miss Thing.” It’s not healthy to call someone a thing.

Stay tuned tomorrow to see Marc, Miss Ronnie and my coverage of the debates.

Where to begin? I laughed out loud so many times during this show I lost count. You two are hilariousterical. I just made that up.

Actually, I always thought that “Miss Thang” was a great compliment, like “fierce.”
Of course, like anything else, it depends upon the tone of voice used when saying the words.

You wanted more ideas for the tune and nobody has responded yet? Unacceptable. lol….Let’s see…Hmmm….

Why-Not-Choose,
Feast-of-Fools?!
…….it even rhymes…kind of. ha.

Glitter On,
Feast of Fools!

Feast of Fools,
Just Do It!

I like the Glitter on
but instead of just do it……………(cuz that is nike’s)
Let’s Go!

Another idea for the intro tune: Feast of Fools flips that shit!

Thanks for the “shout out” on today’s episode Fausto… you actually did a good job with my last name. It was cool hearing my musical versions of the FOF theme used on episodes #574 & #575… definitely a pleasant surprise! Props to Fausto and Sal E for another fun show!

More lyrics:

“Fab-u-lous Feast of Fools”
“Feast of Fools Fab-u-lous”
“Feast of Fools in my ears”
“Feast of Fools join the fun”
“Feast of Fools makes you gay”
“Feast of Fools keeps you gay”
