Comedian Ronn Vigh on the Feast of Fools podcastWhat’s the big deal with bisexual people? Are they really interested in both men and women? Do bisexual people really exist or are they just queers who haven’t come to terms with who they really are?

As inclusive and tolerant as some people may wish to be, one thing we might all share in common deep inside is that we’re typically unnerved by folks who walk in two worlds, weather it be by race, sexual preference or gender.

It makes us think they are unsure of who they are and make us question who we are as a result.

But really, there is nothing wrong with being bi.

Today we’re joined by master mixologist, vegetarian bacon lover, championship bowler, and well endowed comedian Ronn Vigh about being bashed for being misperceived as a bi-basher. Columnist Heather Cassell was invited to comment on the article but declined.

Join us as we dish the dirt on cruisy toilets, sexism, and death-predicting cats. If you don’t listen to this podcast, you just might not see it coming and you will die!

Did you hear about the Robo-Toilet Mayor of Fort Lauderdale? After weeks of gay activists demanding he apologize for his remarks on wanting to install automatic door opening public toilets to reduce gay sex, he apologized the the public, for not “being aware of the problem sooner!” I doubt he gets cruised at all, but who knows? Maybe gays in Florida are into him so much he had to spend millions of taxpayer dollars for robotic doors. It’s not like anybody needs health care or anything.

Be sure to visit Ronn’s MySpace page and check out his performance on Monday at Martuni’s with Marga Gomez in San Francisco.

I think this year this is the year of the gays, and vote every single day for the Feast of Fools podcast, since we’re the only GLBT themed podcast that has ever been nominated for the top award. So be sure to start voting once a day every day this Saturday. Let’s do it for Brokeback Mountain losing the “Best Picture” Oscar!

Who loves ya? Feast of Fools, that’s who.

I’ve heard that gay people dislike bi people, because they believe that the bi’s are just afraid to completly commit to gay sex. Is that true or not? I think your show is funny and witty in a way only gays can be, so keep up the great show!

I am of mixed race, half Indian, half English…. so I know how people can stutter and grumble about what category to put you in. It’s about placing labels on people, pigeon-holing (sounded better in my mind). I’m comfortable being me, belonging to both or neither of my cultures. Other people, even my own family had problems in trying to categorise me.

Gosh, what a cutie above. Hello Blue Bolt LOL

Although I am admittedly biased about this, that article by Heather Cassell is about the worst piece of trash I’ve ever read. You can’t quote someone by preceding it with “something to the effect of”. Give me a freaking break. Go back to journalism school, Heather!

Everybody is quick to label. When I lived in NJ I was rarely questioned about my sexuality. In San Francisco, everybody wants to know if someone is gay, straight, or bi or other. Its nearly the first question out of someone’s mouth if they are unsure. We say in these parts that we dont care about their oreintation, but, yet we just need to know! I say live your life the way you enjoy living it and screw the labels. What I do is just jokes- so labels and stereotypes may get poked at and bought up in a joking way, but we need to keep doing whatever safely makes us happy in life and keep chugging along.

On the subject of where someone can get off without getting arrested, in Miami, a prison cell is a considered public space. I wonder if you can schedule conjugal visits with yourself.

I think the negative feelings gays have for Bi-sexuals is the fact that Bi-sexuals are straddling the fence. Commit! Also, I think a bi-sexual under pressure will say, to a straight, “hey I like girls. I am like you.” I think that is where the bad feelings come from.
Also if you refuse some kind of label do not expect to fit in anywhere.

Great show today guys! I just started listening last week and I love this podcast! Ronn is really handsome and cute too.

It’s hearing stories about how people are so harsh to judge one another that makes me glad I don’t live in San Francisco. On the other hand, Heather’s article isn’t really that bad, and she’s giving Ronn a giant plug in the article, which I’m sure helps him become more famous. I think she’s wrong in picking on him but I do know how gay people can be so selfish sometimes and not consider the other colors in the rainbow.

Just wanted to say — this show scored the highest this week on my laugh-o-meter! Ronn is hilarious! Please bring him back! Maybe you could surprise him by getting Steven on the other line… “Ronn, do you recognize this voice? Here is your life!”

aw, that brings back memories….

Thanks for the complinments!!! And, thanks for getting me stuck on YouTube for the last hour watching good ol’ Sesame Street clips which led to watching good ol’ The Muppets clips and now Im on good ol’ The Match Game clips.

Keep supporting FOF, laughter, and sending me compliments!

Ronn, for someone who wants people to just lighten up and get over things - you seem pretty fixated on that B.A.R. article and reporter. Get over it - it’s the local Gay rag - it’s not the Chronicle - or even the Examiner.

Well, your right. And, The Examiner did a nice piece on me just weeks before. And, yes…. people need to lighten up! I know being in the spotlight- these things are bound to happen from time to time and now I know how Paris Hilton feels… but…. tis not fun to be labeled as a ‘hater’ of any kind, especially when it is not true and it was taken totally out of context. So, how would you feel if something liek this happened to you?

Ronn is hot.

Thanks superboy! And, lets see…. its 6:05 pm Friday and I officialy got my first MySpace request for a dick pic. What took so long, boys! JK

Hey Fausto just so you know, the Kinsey scale actually is an odd number, 0 to 6, with 3 being equally heterosexual and homosexual.
Ronn definitely needs to come back for some more shows.

Wasn’t he the cutest? Glad we could be of service Ronn! Hopefully this will get you another hot date-

Can we all see your famed endowments????? You know, Milton Berle was a great comedian and who had a big tool.

Yeah, I hear that Chyna the wrestler is HILARIOUS.

(Do a google search for Chyna clit) with the “safety off” NOT SAFE FOR WORK OR FOR CHILDREN!!! It may not be safe for anyone, really.

Be sure to turn OFF the “SafeSearch Filtering” and look at the images.

Fun show y’all - Ronn, you are *very* funny - (and obviously can work w/ everything they throw at you) :-)

It’s interesting that the first Providence celeb I’ve heard about on the show is a cat.

Alec in PVD

BTW - Oscar the cat just made Leno - even had two skits! Fame - he’s going to live forever, he’s going to learn how to fly.

I love this episode its one of the best episodes of the Summer. Mr.Vigh should come back in the future.

He should come with Steven to Chicago!

I second that emotion… Ronn was hysterical. And he’s all over the boards, too.. it’s nice to see a guest become a member of the community!

LOL @ today’s show, Ronn was a fun guest. Phantom of the Opera? Marc, my version of the opening theme was a string quartet.. no *organs* were harmed in the making of the theme. I voted today… did everyone else?

I voted too. Every time you vote a drag queen gets her wig.

Both my husband and I are Bi-sexual. I am not undecided about what I like. The main thing we get from the girls and guys in Bars is that they want us to choose..You must be one or the other, it is like Boys against the girls sometimes when I listen to these poeple. I get so turned on and horney watching my Guy kiss and play with other guys in the bar. I make a point of not hanging around him on these nights so that he can have a chance. I go to the girl bars on my own to try and get the same, but many women are offended that I play both sides. I will say from our experiences Gay men are pretty accepting and in some cases intrigued that he and I are a couple and I like watching him. For our experience Gay men are much more likely to try an Bi-sexual than lesbians. I guess I am lucky that for whatever reason Gay men think I am cool to be around when we go to the bar. “Eagle LA”
At this point women have kinda dropped out as a possiblity for me, but I have also started to give up on asking and approaching women.

Ronn, You are funny! Fausto and Marc was also great in this interchange about Bi’s and even down to the joke for Martuni’s!
