There’s a multiple Gay bar owner here in San Francisco. Mysteriously his places seem to spontaneously combust from time to time. We call him “matches”. He seems to keep up with his insurance payments, religiously.

I laughed my ass off while listening to it at work, and so did one of my co-workers (with headphones, needless to say).

I also wanted to take a quick moment to thank Fausto and Marc for helping me get back off the blacklist on this site. I had some problems posting and ended up spazzing out trying to re-post, resulting in the site stamping me as a habitual spammer and requiring Marc or Fausto to fish my posts out of the spam bucket. Creating a new and improved profile and deleting the old one got me back in the site’s good graces again. It’s great to be back imposing my opinion on everybody.

Hey guys…great show. I rarely pass up a chance to be my pedantic self. Re: 100+ last names represent most Chinese names:

Names in China, Japan and Korea don’t follow the western convention of first name, last name as we know it. They use the eastern convention of family name (surname) first followed by given name. To illustrate, in Chinese custom, your names are Felian Mark and Fernos Fausto. Or Mao (family name) Zedong (given name).

So that means that you should have used Chinese “family names” or Chinese “surnames” to make your point. This is truly a pedantic as we all understood what you were trying to say.

Predictive text for SMS (text) messages and chinese character word processing is basically the same thing. You punch in a letter or two (alphabet based languages) or a syllable or two (character based languages) and the predictive software takes over. Its amazing to watch someone type in Chinese characters, whether a keyboard or phone.
