Larry Craig looks so creepy lurking in that thumbnail pic. I just have to wonder how can he be charged with a crime for doing what he did foot tapping etc. There was no sex. Its crazy that you can be arrested for this. Straight people have lovers lanes and the cops may knock on the window and ask them to move along. Although I agree totally that Larry Craig is an asshole, but should he of been arrested for it, probably not. Great show guys. Thx for supporting the ABCs out there. You brighten my day.

I vote for Nancy Grace. She now has time since leaving Court TV. She is expecting twins at 49 yrs old so she is probably sitting around a lot with her feet up.

Dr. T- I think he’s considered a hypocrite because he’s someone who enjoys sex with other men, yet as a politician stands in the way of gay people’s hopes and dreams.

He ruins it for himself in the long run. If you think gay sex is so immoral, why are you having it then on your own?

I don’t necessarily consider Foley to be a big of a hypocrite because behind the scenes he was a somewhat moderate Republican and didn’t always tow the party line when it came to GLBT rights.

I ran for State Assembly and people told me to be anti-gay for popular support, but that would be dishonest. I basically came out, and pissed off loads of California Republican Party insiders in 2002 when I was interviewed in the Sacramento Bee.

If you are representing a Republican leaning district you could be right wing on other issues, but fostering inequality is just sad.

I would like to see a spectrum of political personalities to be on such as Pam Spawlding, the guys from The Malcontent, the heads of the Illinois Log Cabin and Stonewall Democrats.

This is another fine episode to be stored for posterity on my hard drive. Good work.

I loved this show guys. Mike was a great guest who kind of pulled back the curtain on gay political life in Washington D.C. I really like the opening with the police interview that was a very nice touch. Marc and Fausto you two had great questions and it was a very well done show. I would love to hear Mike back on the show sometime it seems he has his finger on the pulse in DC.

Great show, it was absolutely wonderful. It was great hearing about all the in-the-closet action going on in Congress.

I wish I could donate! But, sadly, I’m just a poor high school student who is currently unemployed. Still, I wish you guys the ebst of luck in getting the moolah together to go out to California!

Listening to this show didn’t have an impact on me as a Republican. It definitely had an impact on me for other reason, though.

Back to being a republican. I’m on the board of Equality California (check it out http://www.eqca.org). I go out of my way to remind my fellow board members (who are liberal to ultra liberal) that I am a member of the SECULAR right (the entrepreneurial libertarian wing) not the Christrian Right (the freaks that stole my party). More importantly though, I go out of my way to remind them that 100% of our congressional representation (Barbara Boxer, Nancy Pelosi, Dianne Fienstein) either don’t support full marriage equality (how can they lose their jobs?! they represent San Francisco?!) or quietly support equality (I’m not sure on this, but I think Pelosi quietly supports full marriage equality, the others oppose). On top of that, none of the presidential frontrunners support full marriage equality either.

I didn’t hear the part that only Republicans are against gay rights. I’ve been meaning to listen to the show again (it was that good!), so i’ll listen for that.

It is truly sad that the party of Barry Goldwater (who fully supported gay rights) is now the party of the Christianists. I stay a registered republican becuase I live in San Francisco. Its a form of civil disobedience to protest the ultra liberal policies of San Francisco.

I’m not defending Democratics (Democrats?, I don’t even know what to call you guys :-P), but the libertarian wing of the former Republican Party is now mostly Independent or Democratic (Democrat?). Me and my fellow Log Cabin Republicans are probably the only Republicans left who truly believe in fiscal responsiblility and small government.

To clarify, Nancy Pelosi supports marriage equality. But if she supports it and keeps it very quiet, she is only marginally better than the rest of SF’s congressional representation, who do not support marriage equality. I would love to see the first woman speaker of the house be more vocal about her support of marriage equality. I am hoping the voters of California push Boxer and Fienstein out of office for NOT supporting marriage equality.

On a separate but related note, in Canadian provinces with marriage equality, same sex marriages are growing at a faster rate than opposite sex marriages (not sure how they calcuate this metric, though). How’s that for traditional family values! I also love the fact that Massachusetts has the lowest divorce rate in the US and they have full marriage equality! Yet another way that marriage equality not only maintains but improves the sancticty of marriage.

I really enjoyed this episode.

Mike Rogers was a very good guest.

You should have him on again sometime.
