Isn’t he cute? One of our lovely singer/dancer/actor friends Andy Shaw joins us today to talk about his successful run of the musical “Footloose.” He played the character of the hot wrestler who just wants to learn how to dance originally played in the motion picture by the late Chris Penn.
Andy’s looking great in his own black “Digitally Delicious” t-shirt, not just because he’s been working out, dancing his butt off and put on about 12 lbs of muscle.
Join us today as we talk about ridiculously high-calorie snack foods, conservative Christian alternatives to Halloween, nude sleepwalking and worms that have been genetically modified into lesbians. The first thing they did is drive their U-Hauls and move in together to co-habitate.
Halloween is in full swing! What are you going as for Halloween? One of my favorite costume ideas is putting on vampire fangs onto any costume you like, to put a “sexy twist” onto whatever costume you’re wearing. Hobo? Think VAMPIRE hobo. Milkman? Think VAMPIRE milkman. Condoleeza Rice? Think VAMPIRE Condi. All your favorite costumes get reborn as the undead when you don a pair of delicious fangs.
Join us this Wednesday at Sidetrack at 6pm as Marc Felion and myself, Fausto Fernós are joined by Andy Shaw, Rick Aiello and other listeners, friends and fans.
We’d love to bring the parade to you, so we’re asking you our listener to pitch in! We’d like to take into the field a Sanyo HD1000 camera which allows us to capture our local flavor in ways you can’t begin to imagine.
One of our lovely listeners, Barbara is matching funds donated between now and Halloween, so your money goes twice as far.
You can’t listen to just one- Feast of Fools!

October 29, 2007 at 08:04Those “Hell House” Christian haunted houses are an epidemic in the South. A lot of churches will also have “Hallelujah” Carnivals to counteract Halloween Carnivals. At work there are several people who have been vocal about Halloween being of the Devil so I am planning on dressing as the Devil on Wednesday. They will probably throw Holy water on me.
By the way, I collect those little Christian pamphlets called tracts. I love the weird artwork of the Devil taking over people’s lives or scenes of sinners in Hell. Hilarious stuff. I used to work in a bookstore and people were always leaving them all over the place. You can also get a ton of them at Gay pride from the religious nuts handing them out. My friends know I like them and save them for me.
PS I love cupcakes. Do not sit on my cupcakes.
