Pink is in, at least in Thailand. Clothing stores in the country are stocking up on everything pink since their beloved King left the hospital last month wearing a pink shirt and blazer.
Thai folks are wearing pink shirts and pink clothing as if it’s going out of style and according to our friend Tracy, it is! Wearing pink is SO five years ago.
But, Tracy thinks that nice thing about wearing pink though is that it brings in cosmic energy to help you attract a sexy lover. Maybe that’s why we enjoy wearing pink underwear around here. We think more guys should wear pink underwear.
Speaking of pink, what colors are going to be hot this holiday season? On today’s show our fabulous design diva and rock star pal Tracy Tyler joins us to talk about the colors of this holiday season. We’re all giggling about the ridiculous but memorable toys we got as kids, Santa’s ugly pie fight and an update on the Miss Puerto Rico beauty pageant scandal.
Speaking of popularity contests with pushy queens, I’m in the fight for my life at the Gay Bloggies! So please go vote for me and post a comment. Right now I’m still in the contest and I plan on winning because I know I have you, our glorious listeners on my side.
Marc and I tell Tracy about the Fark party we went to this weekend. We didn’t quite know what to expect when we went to the Lincoln Tap Room for the party of followers of the Fark, which according to Wikipedia is “community website created by Drew Curtis allowing users to comment on a daily batch of news articles and other items from various websites.” Well, as it turns out, we ran into wonderful people that we already knew and got a chance to meet some very interesting people. It reminded us a lot of a Feast Of Fools Meet ‘N Greet, but with more straight people.
We’re also a little befuddled by the Tay Zonday Cherry Chocolate Dr. Pepper ad. We’re glad he’s making a buck but we are a little confused by what’s happening in the video. Note how he awkwardly hands a cherry to a sexy lady. Why wouldn’t he just pop it into her mouth?
The podcast that will cut you up! Listen to our talk show- Feast of Fools.

Love Tracy! I hope she comes back. So, Dolly is a lesbian, huh? It kind of makes sense in a sureal sort of way… We know she loves the gay boys, after all. Her and Tammy Faye, rest her soul, they’re like right wing conpsiracies unto themselves.

Wouldn’t that be insane if Tammy Faye was secretly lesbian too LOL LOL

First, I love Tracy’s voice. Second, I have cochineal ink! My aunt got it for me when she went on a weaving trip to Guatemala, and I’ve never used it. Who knew it was such a revolutionary breakthrough. Third, I love Fausto’s George Washington Carver impersonations. We drove past the G. W. Carver monument on I-44 over Thanksgiving, but we’ve never stopped to see it. One of these days we will go and pay homage…
And bedsheets for Christmas?! I’m glad that Marc now has some ammunition to use the next time Fausto brings up the candy cane story!

I agree with Maia– I, too, love Tracey’s voice! She makes my toes curl. She seems so down to earth and sweet. And so cuuuute!!!
Tracy girl, if for some godforsaken reason you find yourself in Winnipeg, I’ll take you out for a nice night on the town, even if you’re not into lezbeans like me.

Hey– did anyone notice the sploshing bit at the end of the Cherry Chocolate Rain commercial? Poor Tay. It must have taken forever to wash that chocolate off of the guy.
It’s funny– every time I see food fights, people getting hit in the face with pies or people just making a mess with food, I think of the FOF. And I smile.

Tracy is so much fun. Have her on often. I loved the Dolly talk and all of Fausto’s impersonations.
This may sound dumb but the coolest Christmas gift I got was from my mom. When I was in college I was always poor and had to pawn my nice 35MM camera for rent money. 3 years later I opened a present from my Mom and it was THE camera. She had found out and went and got it and held on to it for 3 years. I never that I would see that camera again.

I listen to Fausto’s account of Christmas in his youth with great fascination and wonder — since my family do not celebrate Christmas. I could never understand, though, the point of lying to kids about the existence of a fictitious character that only leads to disappointment when they find out he doesn’t. I suppose the experience of wishing for something and having that wish come true is a valuable one, the point of which escapes me. From Fausto’s accounts, though, it sounded wonderful and full of sweet happiness.

Please bring Tracy back!!! What a good show guys and gals! As a previous gift wrapper at a major department store in the gift wrap department even, I appreciate the variation that Tracy presented on the bow making. I haven’t seen that method and it’s quite easier than what I learned.
The talk about Dolly and Melissa made me laugh out loud and embarrass myself in public leaving me looking (as usual) like an escapee. It was wonderful.
