Trans blogger Josh Cole talks about documenting his change on the Feast of Fools podcastToday’s classic podcast of the Feast of Fools: Gay Fun Show is dedicated to Jaycub and his trans roomie Christopher who listen to the show every single day! And to Rochelle because she works so hard behind the scenes to promote the FOF.

Audio blogging? What’s that?

In the early days of podcasting, before such a word even existed, there were many people out there posting audio files to their blog entries to illustrate the ideas they were trying to present.

One of my favorite discoveries was trans blogger Joshua Bastian Cole, who had extensively documented his body and voice through the years as he made the process to go from woman to man. The changes are astounding. Listen to the recordings here.

When we went to cover the Harry Potter book release, I had no idea who I was talking to, but later found out it was “that guy” from the net!

Today we’re joined by Josh Cole to talk about why he did it. Why did he put the change out there for the world to see? Most trans folks rather pass, he wants people to know what journey he’s gone through.

Check out this jerk- Charles Merrill who inherited an ancient Koran worth over $60,000 just to say that the Koran, just like the Bible, is homophobic and used to justify violence.

I agree with his message, but his approach is dead wrong. For some wealthy artistocrat like him money might not mean much, but $60,000 can go a long way to building schools, fighting diseases and making the world a better and more non-violent place.

He doesn’t get that by burning the valuable antique he’s aligns himself with with book burners of all kinds and also the very type of mentality he’s hoping to eradicate.

Do you know how many Feast of Fools t-shirts $60,000 can buy? No need to pull out your calculator, the answer: 1,500 shirts.

Join Marc and me, Fausto as we talk about why most Republican Presidential candidates are unavailable from the scheduled YouTube/CNN Republcian debates (answer, they don’t want to be forced to answer difficult questions from YOU, the public.) Also: dentists with a sense of humor, and questions from you, our lovely listeners.

Delicious because it’s digital- Feast of Fools.
