Happy New Year everybody! On our very first show of the New Year, before we boldly go into 2008 and stop the hate, we look back on 2007 and talk about all the ideas, stories and trends that shaped our WWW, that is, our Wild Wacky World.
Amanda Steinstein and the gang rang in the New Year at the Polkaholics show at the Dank House in Chicago, a German cultural center. The packed room was full of hunks, drunks and lunks getting ready to pop champagne and blow their own horns as they polka danced in the New Year.
With all the crazy festivities and tacky New Year’s Eve hats around, I really wanted to shoot a picture for fatchicksinpartyhats.com, but I just didn’t dare. But did you hear this famous site that mocks plus sized people and fags just got bought by Google for 3 BILLION dollars? It is going to be the new Facebook. Just kidding.
Google’s been on a shopping spree in 2007 though. They acquired just about a little piece of everything there was to be had. We’re still waiting for their hostile takeover of the FOF headquarters. We just can wait for the Sushi Chef in the studio and health benefits. But, until that day comes, buy a t-shirt please!

That’s the bad side of having bronchitis for over two weeks. The good side: my abs have started to ache every time I cough, so I think I am partway to a six-pack. It’s my easy exercise plan for the new year.

And yeh, leather might be used as a shortcut to masculinity, but it doesn’t really work. If you have a very limp wrist and can’t fill that leather out properly, the chasm between who you are and who you are trying to be - a Tom of Finland character - will be obvious and a bit sad. Better to make peace with your femme-level. Mind you, on a guy like Ben Browder from Farscape it looks hot!
