Marc, Amanda and Fausto are dying to talk to you!We are such babies. We’re only ten year’s old! Can you believe it? The Feast of Fools is starting its second decade in show business. We seen a lot of transformation through the years and we look forward to do a lot of new and exciting things in the future. We hope you come along for the ride.

Last year for the April Fools’ Day show Amanda thought that it would be great idea and trick people into believing she left the show for some radio gig somewhere. Some people fell for it, others did not. Those that believed it cried even despite our bad acting, Marc and Fausto’s lack of caring and the fact that the show was posted two minutes before midnight on the first of April.

Here are some precious comments made by the lovely listeners concerning their affection for Amanda:
Charlie: “I think this is a prank. I hope and pray it is a prank. Is this a prank???”

Chris: “You will be missed! I loved listening to you! You always made me laugh…and today you made me cry. Good luck!”

Christopher Hamilton: “Amanda, I am so happy and excited for you. Congratulations! Of course we will all miss you terribly on FOF. Thank you for brightening our days, lifting our spirits, and keeping Fausto in check. I hope your new adventures are wonderful… although you’ll have to email updates to FOF so we can at least know how you are!”

But my favorite is this one by Thrivis: “Oh. My gods. I totally fell for Amanda’s prank. YOU BITCH… I LOVE YOU! That was a good one. First one I’ve fallen for in AGES. LOL”

Well, we got her back for you!

Amanda did not want to participate in this year’s April Fools Show because she felt so bad about last year’s show that she didn’t have the heart to fool anyone again. So what did we do? We conned her into it. We told Amanda that the April first show was a retrospective and that the show she is on is going to air on the second of April. Amanda talks on this show about how she didn’t want to be on the April Fools’ Day show this year and gets about three quarters of the way into the show before we spill the beans. She freaks. We laugh. It’s all good fun!

Was Michaelangelo's God a brain or a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

We just found out from the History channel that the thing that surrounds God while he gives the spark of life to Adam in Michaelangelo’s fresco is shaped like the human brain. And did you ever hear about the Flying Spaghetti Monster who’s likeness is also shaped like a brain?

It seems as though Amanda is hooked on this new noodley religion. She’s contributing not money, but brains. She came up with a new term for people that don’t like the religion. Listen to the show to find up what the new word Amanda coined for what some call the best new religion of the twenty first century.

Please join Amanda and us, Marc Felion and Fausto Fernós as we talk about comedy cliches, the pope of the Jedi religion beaten by Darth Vader and the healing powers of Mr. T.

In order to celebrate, we’re putting up our Feast of Fools April Fools Day Quiz. E-mail us your answers by copying and pasting the text and then typing TRUE or FALSE after the statement. The first person to get it all right wins a new FIRECRACKER RED T-shirt and mug!

That was one of the FUNNIEST shows ever. I don’t want to spoil it for anyone, but let’s just say that about 3/4 through the show, Amanda’s reaction is P-R-I-C-E-L-E-S-S.

Serves you right, Amanda. But we still love you. :-)

Thanks for the show,. Always great to hear from Amanda.

does this comment box make me look fat?

Thank you guys and Lady Amanda..you made my day
Happy anniversary FoFs!

Another great show. Amanda - although I don’t do piercing there is nothing better than a blow job from someone with a tongue piercing! :-o

Oh and Happy 10th Anniversary - I hope you get the package I sent from England soon. Mark

OK, to use a Fausto phrase from the past, “Let me just put this out there…” I don’t know why you thought it was so surprising that the audience fell for Amanda telling us she was going to go into radio last year on the April Fools show. Ms. Steinstein….

a) Is funny as crap,.
b) Used to work in radio
c) Does stand up comedy
d) Definitely has the voice of a comedy radio personality
e) Knows all kinds of crazy triva….

OK the list could go on and on, but I still maintain that it wasn’t such a ridiculous ruse that we all should have known it was a trick, plus if I’m not mistaking, wasn’t the show posted on April 2 originally?

Regardless, I love you Amanda, and I just want to tell you if you ever do leave the show I will cry, and then I will send you myspace messages incessantly until you come back on the show….and I will stalk you….and I am not a lazy stalker, I can scuba dive even, so watch out.

All I can say to Amanda is…SUCKER. The jokes on her this time. You know I love you.
I also love that Spaghetti Monster. He is sacrilicious!
And as you know Jeff Foxworthy is an Atlanta resident and everything he says about rednecks is true about my family. In fact, if you ever went to a pig race at the mall, a tractor pull, a wrestling match, a rattlesnake round-up, and your nickname as a child was Bubba, you might be a redneck. All the above statements are true about me!
FOF’s number one redheaded redneck fan from the south.

Cliff, aren’t you red all over?

Don’t you remember?

Hilarious show. I love Amanda so much!

yikes im laughing so hard at the quizzzzz..

well i’m off to empty tuesday…. empty orchestra, that is!

Thank you for the delightful show guys.

Amanda, it is always a pleasure having you on the show. You are inventive, funny, and always have delightful stories to make us laugh. Thank you for coming in so dangerously close to April 1 and for not killing the boys (even though you had a right).

Cheers!

There is still time to enter the contest. You’d be surprised how few you have to get right to win!

Great show! Serves Amanda right, although I wan’t one of the ones who fell for her joke last year …

And I just adore Rachel Sage. I’m going to go listen to the album now.

I haven’t listened to the show yet but a few days ago I promised I would comment and since I’m here…

You guys always get me in trouble at work…the guy at the desk next to me keeps asking me what I’m laughing at. Oh..and another person at work asked me if I’ve ever heard of the FOF. I guess he just started listening. I had to give him a quick education on who is who and he even got his FOF T-shirt!

Oh…I got this link from a friend today for April Fools. Can you imagine if it’s real? Ick…Human Cheese. That is just gross! (and illegal in 40 states).

Carbo Diem!!!

Man I love Amanda. Let’s be Pastafarian guys!

FSM bless you all Ramen.

Mark- thanks for filling in your friend at work about the podcast!

input your comment here…right back at ya, amanda!!! ;-D i was one of the many who cried and contemplated suicide a year ago following amanda’s faux press release… nice to know she’s still dupe-able! (ok, so technically the guys lied to her face, but whatever…) oh, and happy tenth guys! here’s to ten-times-ten more!

I can’t believe that it was a year ago I was lying in bed, in the dark, crying as Amanda was saying her farewells. I was a few days behind so it wasn’t April 1st when I heard it and, yes, I was thoroughly fooled! But don’t feel too bad, Amanda, I was only sad for a few minutes because the next episode was right there, queued up on my ipod.

It’s soooooo nice to still have you in bed with me on an irregular basis!

And yes boys, I agree that she had it coming! :-)

Jase

You all may have had your revenge on me…but I’ll have the last laugh…BECAUSE I’M NEVER EVER LEAVING! YOU’RE STUCK WITH ME FOREVER! BWAA HA HA HAH!!
