Michael Buckley will do almost anything to entertain you; cartwheels, hand stands and even a little skin show.
Flipping snarky catchphrases with insightful quips on celebrity news and popular culture, Connecticut based Michael Buckley’s video blog “What the Buck” bitingly comments at lighting speed on the nature of celebrity and the ridiculousness of fame.
His quick-paced, insightful take on popular culture rivals the best of entertainment based television programs and is completely written, produced and created by the man himself.
Michael Buckley works several hours every day writing, editing and taping his award winning videos and still manage to juggle a day job and a husband.
With over two million views every month and over 100 thousand regular subscribers, Michael’s high speed commentary has put him on the map and on Fox News as a regular commentator.
Buckley beat out Chris Crocker’s “Leave Brittney Alone” video to capture a 2007 YouTube Award for best commentary with his “LonelyGirl15 is Dead!” which tears apart the notorious web series starring a young girl stalked by some freakish cult.
Where does Michael’s seemingly boundless energy and enthusiasm for making fun of celebrities com from?
Listen as Michael shares his secrets on how he makes his award winning videos, the universal appeal of scatological humor and our fascination with tragic female celebrities.
We take a look at Miley Cyrus as she’s working a double shifts filling the gaping media hole left by the skanks of 2007 Britney, Lindsay, Paris and Nicole who have left the spotlight in search for a better life.
Also why Enrique Iglesias embraces his gay male fans and who Michael thinks is going to win this seasons American Idol reality TV singing show.

Hi Fausto and Marc! I was an avid FoF listener up until a few months ago, when iTunes crashed and I lost contact with all my podcasts. I’ve kept following you guys on Twitter and via RSS feed, and when I saw this podcast title, I just had to listen. As a member of YouTube’s gay community, I love seeing our “icons” get exposure in other outlets.
I plan on listening to the show daily again, now that I just finished my last final paper. Yes, at 4:30 in the morning. I’m a college student, that’s what we’re supposed to do!
patchouli_stink says:
Do do do do. my farm! I love Buck and FoF. Together they are magical. Michael makes a great guest. I had to have it!
PureeTofu says:
Must say its awesome to have a YouTube star that isn’t a gender bender (Chris Cocker / B. Scott).
Looking forward to some new guests and old ones (Fausto bring your momma online again!).
hyperprone says:
WOW! Someone who talks just as fast as I do!
Great show boys!
epilonious says:
I really enjoyed this show. I loved the idea of Buck as being an older, more elegant youtube celebrity.
I didn’t know about What the Buck before… but now I do, and will probably be watching it religiously.
Nite in Shining Armour says:
I have never heard of him, but I can see how he could grown on you. Does he know David Sadaris?
Teddy says:
I love Buck! I’ve been a fan of his for a while, so i’m so glad you guys had him on your show today. what a great interview!
RcktMan says:
Buck is adorable and hysterical! I’ve been watching his shows for a while now and he’s always a lot of fun. A great match for FoF actually… It’d be great to have him on occasionally to discuss the crazy lives of celebs. Great interview, and definitely one of the best “Breakdowns” ever!
PupDon says:
Wow, that was great. I think it would be a hoot for Buck to interview transsexual porn star Buck Angel and you can call it Buck on Buck. Or maybe… A Couple of Bucks?
Did you guys notice that as the interview went on you started talking faster and faster to keep up?
Felix Bedingfield says:
How fun was that?!
Matty says:
Well Hyperprone stole my comment! lol But yeah, its great to hear someone who talks at the same speed as me. He was hilarious and real, loved it. Great show you guys. Love!
Bruno Tanaka says:
Wow, I had to listen the show twice to understand him, but it was great, though.
I loved him, I watched him once or twice and I cracked laughing about the celebs. Great show guys and PLEASE you have to have him on the show again, even though I’d have to listen it twice to understand what he’s talking. LOL

Trannylover says:
Love Matthew Buckley! You guys are so good at interviewing people, it’s really great to get to know these youtubelebrities in a better way. Nice work! If I won the lottery, I’d give you guys half just for making my world such a rich and wonderful place.
Robert says:
Enjoyed Buck now and before.
I have been a botox user for four years now ( I am in the business ) so I was glad to hear Buck admit he is a user also. One does not have to be old to need/want botox.
Marc Felion says:
I was really surprised by the Botox. I didn’t know someone that 32 years old would want or need Botox. It was news to me. I’m thinking of getting Botox on my penis to get the wrinkles out. Will that work for me?
Henry says:
I visited my family in New Mexico over the weekend. On the way, west, the flight was bumpy - i have a new fear of flying. I put on the show and soon after I didn’t care about the turbulence because I enjoyed the interview so much. Thank you for making me laugh. Buck made a great guest, i hope to see him back.
SAL-E says:
OK, is he the guy on the Big Gay Sketch show that does that Flight Attendant?
Love Him!
Love ya more

I love Michael Buckley! He projects the creative maturity that I wish more internet and mainstream stars would use to build their carers. His energy is infectious and his passion for life is inspiring.

Heart Michael.
