Juan Carlos and Curtis JensenYipee! Market Days is almost here, and we are SO ready for it.

The Midwest’s largest street fair, drawing over 200,000 people from around the country is happening this weekend and one of the funnest booths is of course Steamworks’ twister booth, which consists of everyday people playing twister with hunky men for charity. This year the charity is Chicago House, so give it up for them.

We’ll be there taking pics and participating, getting ourselves in every twist and turn we can imagine. Winning at twister requires a lot of core strength, something if you spend a lot of time in front of a computer can be quite a challenge. Ugh!

I don’t care, because if I lose, I’ll just wind up on the bottom of a pile of handsome men!

Juan Carlos and Curtis Jensen Juan Carlos, Marc and Curtis Juan Carlos and Fausto

On today’s show Curtis Jensen and Juan Carlos from Steamworks, or as we say in Spanish “Esteamworks” join us to talk about the twister booth and how to put men in vulnerable place where dreams come true. In other words how to flirt with a guy and succeed!

Curtis gives us the skinny on what may happen to San Francisco’s 2008 Halloween festivities which were canceled last year. The gay district of San Francisco was in virtual lockdown last year because of of gang activity and gun fire at the previous year’s Halloween celebration. In 2008, they now propose a Halloween inspired carnival in a parking lot at the AT&T Park that will have fun activities for the children and may or may not include alcohol. Will it be enough though to lure the straights and the gang bangers away from the Castro district though?

Wish I was rich, glad I'm not stupidRemember the insane, over the top “I Am Rich” iPhone application that cost $999.99? Well it turns out that Apple yanked it off its store after all the negative publicity. One guy had his iTunes shopping preferences set to “one click” and accidentally downloaded the thousand dollar app.

According to the LA Times blog email conversation with Heinrich, the app’s developer, six people in the U.S., one from Germany and one from France bought the $999.99 application. This brought Heinrich $5600 in net revenue.

Corner of Gay and EdnaSan Antonio’s Second Baptist Church is fighting hard to rename nearby Gay Boulevard to Second Baptist Avenue in an effort to raise the profile of the church. The city of San Antonio seems ok with it since Gay has “”no significant historical connection” to the city.

Yep, it's a full sized inflatable churchIt’s not just the gays at Market Days celebrating the summer. Almost all of Italy is on vacation at the beach during the month of August and the churches in the big cities are empty. So instead of the shepherd leading the flock, the shepherd has followed the flock to the beach and is now hearing confessions from the wayward souls in an inflatable church in the sand.

We’re still hoping to raise the full amount to bring us to Las Vegas and San Francisco, so wont you help? For the price of a cup of coffee (okay, really NICE coffee) you can help bring the Feast of Fools OUT WEST!

Juan Carlos is CUUUUUTE!!!!!

Great show guys. The Atlanta/Tornoto moment had me laughing for a while. JC is so cute ;-)

can’t get enough of market days coverage! i’m fully prepared to buy overpriced beer and feel self-conscious about my body.

i went to college in san antonio and know for a fact that Gay Boulevard is the epicenter of homosexual activity in the fiesta city. they can’t take that from us!! baptists are worse than catholic school nuns or riot police; always trying to break up the party.

Hilarious episode. Epic. Curtis Jensen brings a great energy to the show.

I’d love to release the pressure with any of you guys anytime! It’s nice to know that such down to earth people are behind sssssssteamworks. Great show guys

Great show. Fat Pride egh?…. well I guess, I aint ashamed of my size, I would never want a Large, that would be too tight on my manly curves. lol I loved how you asked Curtis and Juan if they identified with certain subcultures of the gay community. I myself identify only as gay. I mean I could also go with cub, or the bigger boys. But I dont really like to put myself in more then one box. :) I love cheese! Cheese is great on just about anything! I liked the inflatable church idea. What about an inflatable Steamworks? Now that would be awesome!!!! Great show boys!

Fausto is right about not knowing where a guys dick has been…
I know somebody who went out to a bar and got smashed and gave some random guy a blow job. The next day she had a rash around her mouth and went to the doctors, thinking she had a std. It turns out that the guy she blew was a mortician and had been having sex with the bodies he worked with. She had an allergic reaction to chemicals in the bodies.
NASTY! keep your lips away hehe

gawddammit JC. how’d you end up as a guest before me?! Just kidding! what a great surprise to hear your voice!

Fausto…looking forward to seeing you again in SF so i can tell you in person that you’re the only person who’s upset that Halloween in SF was canceled last year.

UiBrian! That story just SCREAMS urban legend! I need proof! What a good story, if it is true. WOW.

XAVI, I think a lot of people were upset about SF’s struggle with their holidays. Can’t wait to hang with you on Thursday Aug 21! Don’t be late, we’re going to have a gooood time. :D

hahaha i know i know…I figured somebody’d say that.
I don’t know…it was convincing enough when they told me. who knows.

Do you guys need me to make more shirts?
Seriously let me know!

I really enjoy the raunchy shows! A dirty mind is a joy forever.
