For people who want to experience the thrill of a Broadway show, they no-longer have to travel to Manhattan, many of the big hits on Broadway are now making their first run in theaters all across the U.S.
On today’s show our lovable on-air concierge Kevin Thomas comes back to report on what’s coming soon to Broadway. Which shows do you have to see? Check out Kevin’s blog entry for moredetails.
Listen as we talk about why gay men love to see famous Hollywood women in musicals, especially when they can’t sing.
Tina Fey once again reprised her flawless imitation of Vice Presidential Dingbat Sarah Palin, but hopes the demand subsides after November 4. She really doesn’t want this woman in office and would rather sacrifice her comic work than put with four years of Palin.
It’s an easy gig for Fey since she doesn’t have to write much material as most of it is just ludicrous quotes from Palin herself.
Obama and McCain meet for their first ever U.S. presidential debate- polls show that swing voters favored Obama overall, even though McCain put out banner ads earlier in the day declaring himself the winner! Do you think he’s a little out of touch?
Diaper Fasion Shows are being held in Japan with hopes to reducing the stigma of diaper use for adults. Will Louis Vitton be putting out a new line of pampers?
Or better yet, will designing diapers become a challenge on Project Runway? We can see the judges proclaiming “You aren’t showing us anything new here” or “Honestly, white is so passe” or maybe host Heidi Klum saying “We ask you to come up with something to make shizer in, and this is what you give us?”
And our hats of to movie star Paul Newman, the actor best known for playing a closet gay football hero opposite Liz Taylor in the film Cat on a Hot Tin Roof and his delicious line of salad dressings. He died over the weekend at the age of 83.
Come everybody and listen to the lullaby of the Feast of Fools.

Michael says:
Hey Boys….I LOVE when Kevin is on, great show. Love his insight on all that is Broadway!
Thanks as well for the shout-outs and my videos, wait til you see my next one!
Oh you’ve got to love that McCain, at least Regan had the charm to wait until AFTER he got elected to start forgetting/making things up!
Beverly Bacci says:
Bachelorette parties make me sick. Bouncers should just direct them to the janitor’s closet and lock those hen-fests away and out of sight.
Having them sign pro-S/S-marriage petitions is a much better idea though. Kudos!
matt says:
Charge an extra 5 dollars as cover charge for the hen parties and use the extra 5 dollars to support marriage equality.
nick says:
Fausto, you’re misquoting the but alive song! it’s itchy and bitchy and manic, not itchy and bitchy and scratchy. ;p just wanted to note it.

I really like hearing Kevin on the show. He’s like this big teddy bear that you can go shopping and dish dirt on people with. Sorry to hear about the sexy Eastern European bellhops!
Cliff Dix says:
KEVIN, KEVIN, KEVIN!!! He is a great guest to have on. More please.
I am dying to see 9 to 5 the Musical. Being a huge Dolly fan I might just have to hitchhike up to NYC and sleep in Central Park just to see it.
TrickyToro says:
Yay we LOVE Kevin!! Thanks for having him back guys. He’s hillarious and insightful.
Marty Mouse says:
Great show today! I went to go see “9 to 5 The Musical” last night at the Ahmanson in LA (runs till Oct. 19th). Thanks for recommending it, because it was fantastic!! I agree with Kevin, Roz was a riot. I was really amazed by the set design. I had heard they had technical problems when it premiered, and now I know why. It was such a complex piece of machinery, to keep the scene changes in sync with the music cues. Besides the standout performances, the technical accomplishments were incredible.
Oh, and I know todays show was about musicals, but former FOF guest Charles Busch is currently in “The Third Story” at the La Jolla Playhouse. It runs until Oct 19th too.
