A healthy booty is a happy one! The butt is the final frontier, not just for food leaving the body, but it’s also a psychological, sexual place wherein lies desire and identity.
In many ways, to ask people to accept gay men, is to ask them to understand and embrace anal sex. Yes, that is not ALL we do in the bedroom, but it’s one of the important things in our sexual lives.
Whenever I hear the statement that “gay/butt sex is not natural,” I wonder if this person knows anything about biology or animals that live in groups. All of nature loves some back door hanky panky; monkeys do it, dolphins do it, even… ok, I’ll stop now before it turns into a Cole Porter song.
Have we always been so shy about our behinds? In the late 1800s French professional farter and entertainer Joseph Pujol, known as Le Pétomane, was a staple at the Moulin Rouge nightclub where he would play musical instruments with his butt, blow out candles from several feet away. He wasn’t farting though, he would suck air in through his butt and then forcibly expel it. He could also suck water out of a bowl with his backside. Now, that’s a power bottom.
Today we’re shining some light into the place where the sun doesn’t shine. What are some common misconceptions about anal sex? How do porn stars do all that sex in movies? Besides using condoms, what are some new ways you can protect yourself from HIV and other sexually transmitted diseases?
Taped live at the Center on Halsted in Chicago Illinois- we’re joined by our bootylicious group of sex-experts: Chicago Porn Star J.C. Carter, Dr. Will Wong of the Chicago Department of Public Health and our very own Jim Pickett of the AIDS Foundation of Chicago and Project IRMA.

We loved getting our picture taken pretending to enter the Tunnel of Love in Swan Boat created by Scott Bradley and Mike Miller from the Scooty and JoJo Show. Thank you boys! It was very romantic!
Thank you to all the sponosrs of the event- Steamworks, Center on Halsted, Project Crysp and Lifelube.

Drew says:
Wish I could have been there guys, nice to hear an audience’s reaction during the taping of the podcast.
I think “If it smells bad, don’t eat it” needs to be on a bumper sticker!
Rhea says:
The cardboard swan boat is the coolest thing ever! Yay Scooty and Jojo!
Marc Felion says:
Glad you liked the swan boat. It was so much more than I expected.
Who lost it when that guy asked about not being able to get smell smell off?
Who thinks three hours of douching is a bit excessive?
Rhea says:
*raises hand*
That’s a whole lot of douching. Wouldn’t all the protective mucus from the anal walls be washed away? Sounds like someone’s a little anal about their anal douching!
Marc Felion says:
Too bad I just found this link otherwise I would have asked about it- fecal transplants:
http://scienceblogs.com/aetiology/2007/12/fecal_transplants_to_cure_clos.php
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fecal_bacteriotherapy
Fausto Fernós says:
Yeah I thought that was WAY excessive, and it was odd that nobody brought it up.
DantheMan says:
Thanks for doing this forum guys! I love these type of things, and the humor and insight you guys bring to everything you do.
Nick says:
As a young gay guy living in rural town in the UK, I just don’t have access to this kind of information - so I really want to thank all of you involved on brining this fabulous podcast. Informative with a sprinkle of laughter too
xx
Saulo says:
Hello, Guys!
Great, fun and informative show! Congratulations!
Kisses!
G.H. Weekes says:
input your comment here…Every time I try to download your show Quicktime player comes up. I’m an mp3 kind of guy.. Help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Marc Felion says:
right click on the link or subscribe through iTunes
G.H. Weekes says:
input your comment here…Thanks for the feedback. Previously I used to right-click and I’d be able to download the podcast as an mp3. Have you chosen Apple over Microsoft, or do I actually have a preference here?
Marc Felion says:
I think 86% of our listeners subscribe through iTunes. You can use what ever RSS feed reader you like. Have you ever subscribed to a podcast before? Here’s a handy video to show you how
G.H. Weekes says:
As always, thanks for your prompt response. I think I figured it out. I was using Firefox (much faster!) as my browser (which has Quicktime as its default media player) rather than Internet Explorer. I simply had to switch to obtain the desired downloadable format.
Keep up the good work!
Fausto Fernós says:
G. H. - You can subscribe to “Feast of Fools” on iTunes or Zune or any “podcatcher” you like. We prefer using iTunes, not just because they are the easiest to use, but also because they support GLBT causes and feature GLBT podcasts on the iTunes music store, so far Zune (Microsoft’s iTunes equivalent) has not.
Here are some podcatchers:
iTunes: http://www.apple.com/itunes/whatson/podcasts/
Zune : http://www.zune.net/en-us/software/marketplace/default.htm
Juice: http://juicereceiver.sourceforge.net/
I recommend using one of those three to subscribe to our shows, that way you always get the shows when you want them (it downloads the episodes in the background.)
Fausto Fernós says:
To save the show as an mp3 file, simply right click on the smaller blue word “download” and that should work.
The files are all encoded as .mp3 files.
Jimmy says:
The sound quality is great on this well done
Fishsauce says:
Thanks to everyone who took part in providing this fantastic resource for everyone. And a special thanks for Fausto for getting it out so quickly! =)
