What is it about Milwaukee that turns the editors of Marie Claire magazine on so much? They have proclaimed Milwaukee to be the sexiest city in America because it is “the nation’s summer-festival epicenter.” It is a place where “NASCAR tailgaters, Lebanese dabka dance fans and Foo Fighters freaks (are) all welcome.”
i think they are spot on. Milwaukee is sexy! We had such a great time this past summer hosting Pridefest Milwaukee and a big part of that good time was the warm hospitality we received from our listeners and Josh Wolter.
On today’s show we’ve got our power listener from Milwaukee, Josh Wolter to talk about fabulous bars and places to visit in Brew City, USA and just what makes Milwaukee so gosh darn hot? Is it the people, the nightlife or does everyone have perpetual beer goggles?
Josh is a man full of contradictions, he considers himself to be neither a Republican nor a Democrat but he plans on voting for John McCain in the upcoming election. It’s hard for us to wrap our heads around why he is for McCain but he does his best to express why he thinks he is the best option for President of the US.
Wisconsin resident Wendy Brown is a real life Jerri blank. The 33 year old woman was arrested last weekend for impersonating her fifteen year old daughter in order to get onto the high school cheerleading squad. She got caught when the check for her uniform bounced.
And a Wisconsin a man is accused of having sex with his comatose wife. Do conjugal rights extend to consciousness discordant couples? We don’t know but he may be getting off on the charges because the police condcuted an improper surveillance.
The Vaseline vandal of Valentine, Nebraska is still at large. Police are having a hard time catching the vandal because of his slippery nature, in both senses of the word. The cheeky bandit smears Vaseline on his behind or genitals and then presses it against storefront windows to leave a distinct mark that’s very difficult to remove.
Religion is not the only opiate of the masses as evidenced by a Catholic priest who has been caught dealing cocaine out of his rectory. He’s pleading not guilty and the church has suspended him. Now, we know cocaine isn’t really an opiate, it’s a crystalline tropane alkaloid.
Join as we talk about these delightful topics as well as the secret lives of Wisconsin serial killers.

It’s hard to find the right words to talk about the painful and tragic events taking place on September 11, 2001. Do you say “Happy September Eleven?” or “May Your September Eleven be a Solemn And Peaceful Day.” We all wish each other “happy” Memorial Day, so why not on Sept. 11 and other death-related […]
