Marc, Amanda and Fausto are dying to talk to you!We are such babies. We’re only ten year’s old! Can you believe it? The Feast of Fools is starting its second decade in show business. We seen a lot of transformation through the years and we look forward to do a lot of new and exciting things in the future. We hope you come along for the ride.

Last year for the April Fools’ Day show Amanda thought that it would be great idea and trick people into believing she left the show for some radio gig somewhere. Some people fell for it, others did not. Those that believed it cried even despite our bad acting, Marc and Fausto’s lack of caring and the fact that the show was posted two minutes before midnight on the first of April.

Here are some precious comments made by the lovely listeners concerning their affection for Amanda:
Charlie: “I think this is a prank. I hope and pray it is a prank. Is this a prank???”

Chris: “You will be missed! I loved listening to you! You always made me laugh…and today you made me cry. Good luck!”

Christopher Hamilton: “Amanda, I am so happy and excited for you. Congratulations! Of course we will all miss you terribly on FOF. Thank you for brightening our days, lifting our spirits, and keeping Fausto in check. I hope your new adventures are wonderful… although you’ll have to email updates to FOF so we can at least know how you are!”

But my favorite is this one by Thrivis: “Oh. My gods. I totally fell for Amanda’s prank. YOU BITCH… I LOVE YOU! That was a good one. First one I’ve fallen for in AGES. LOL”

Well, we got her back for you!

Amanda did not want to participate in this year’s April Fools Show because she felt so bad about last year’s show that she didn’t have the heart to fool anyone again. So what did we do? We conned her into it. We told Amanda that the April first show was a retrospective and that the show she is on is going to air on the second of April. Amanda talks on this show about how she didn’t want to be on the April Fools’ Day show this year and gets about three quarters of the way into the show before we spill the beans. She freaks. We laugh. It’s all good fun!

Was Michaelangelo's God a brain or a Flying Spaghetti Monster?

We just found out from the History channel that the thing that surrounds God while he gives the spark of life to Adam in Michaelangelo’s fresco is shaped like the human brain. And did you ever hear about the Flying Spaghetti Monster who’s likeness is also shaped like a brain?

It seems as though Amanda is hooked on this new noodley religion. She’s contributing not money, but brains. She came up with a new term for people that don’t like the religion. Listen to the show to find up what the new word Amanda coined for what some call the best new religion of the twenty first century.

Please join Amanda and us, Marc Felion and Fausto Fernós as we talk about comedy cliches, the pope of the Jedi religion beaten by Darth Vader and the healing powers of Mr. T.

In order to celebrate, we’re putting up our Feast of Fools April Fools Day Quiz. E-mail us your answers by copying and pasting the text and then typing TRUE or FALSE after the statement. The first person to get it all right wins a new FIRECRACKER RED T-shirt and mug!

Osaka Hernandez had a huge following in Japan. If Selena was the “Madonna” of Tejano music, then Osaka was considered to be the “Cyndi Lauper.” Okay Osaka was a fabulous drag queen and never sang any conjunto music, but it makes a great introduction, doesnt it?

Since the early days of film, making and watching movies has been a very gay pastime. Check out this early “Kinestoscope” movie of two men dancing made by William Dickson at Thomas Edison’s “Black Maria” experimental film studio. I’m not sure if the two guys were Thomas Edison’s hunky assistants or just some gay […]
