Eric Himan is a madman on the guitarWe just think Eric Himan is one of the most handsome, attractive, talented, kind, sweet, handsome musicians we’ve ever had the pleasure to have on our show. Did I mention he’s handsome?

Everyone’s favorite folk/soul/rock musician joins us for the third time to shoot the breeze about his music career and his new album “Resonate” which you’ll be hearing FIRST here on the Feast of Fools. We’re so excited about the new album and it’s not even out yet, but you get a sneak peek on today’s show.

Eric Himan has got the bluesEric is the kind of musician that brings people together. When he first started playing his guitar in his dorm room in his freshman year in college, he quickly saw how music could break down the isolation people felt in college by giving them something to gather around on.

Eric dedicates the song “Little Boy Blue” from his up and coming album to a trans listener who won him over on a tour that included stops at GLBT Youth Centers.

Today Eric hits the top of GLBT music charts and uses his popularity to raise awareness to social issues.

I had such a great time jamming with Eric on the tambourine and getting him to ponders the possibility of creating country song with Shirley Phelps, like some sort of twisted Conway Twitty/Dolly Parton duet.

Marc Felion and his buddy Eric HimanJoin us for a very special unplugged session with Eric Himan as we talk about the future of the music industry, tips on handling stalkers, lyp synching celebs, pre-historic Christians, weird religions, tattoo advice and why corporate gay media shies away from covering their own gay people.

And we have a very special musically enhanced Breakdown 2008.

A hoe-down of good time- Feast of Fools.

Eric’s music isn’t available anywhere yet, but I highly recommend getting his past CD’s on iTunes if you haven’t gotten them already. We’ll let you know as soon as the new album “Resonate” is available.
