Musician Ben Lerman on the Feast of Fools podcastBen is banging away on the ukulele on today’s show and I couldn’t be happier! Who doesn’t love the Hawaii’s contribution to the world of music when it’s accompanied by funny lyrics?

On today’s show we’re talking to Indiana born, New York City living comic-musician Ben Lerman.

Ben’s touring the country promoting his new CD “Ukelear Winter.” Although he says he not a bear, he has a big ole polar bear playing the ukulele on the cover of the album. Now Ben, you really have to be little older and have white hair to be a polar bear but you may just be young enough to be a cub. Ah labels, how can we laid without them? What do you think? Do you need a label to get laid?

Ben’s deliriously funny songs speak of magical lands where drag queens have super powers and anyone can possess a vagina that can hold candy and snacks like a pantry, if not Christmas trees covered in tinsel.

If you have a chance to see Ben’s live act when he comes to your neck of the woods, don’t miss it! We had a chance to see him live with Elvira Kurt, who we interviewed last May and it was a hoot. Now, you might not be able to ever see Ben live but at least on today’s music laced show you’ll get a nice taste of what Ben has to offer.

It looks like the Missing Flying Priest has now become the floating priest. Remember the guy that tried to raise money for a truck stop spiritual center? He is still missing. Father de Carli took to the air in a chair attached to a huge column of green, red, white and yellow balloons and is somewhere lost in the Atlantic. The Navy has called off their search.

Listen as we talk about unplugged sessions, why old Jewish people on NYC’s lower East Side are negative about everything and how they may be related to Amanda Steinstein.

Melts in your mouth and in your pants- Feast of Fools.
