Dax Flame: Peer Pressure

By John Q. Sanchez on May 7, 2007 | Share & Save | Link | Print |

Here is episode #3 of Dax Flame’s voluminous and controversial YouTube diary, which documents the 15-year-old’s heart-rending, mind-bending attempt to make friends with a classmate, Jacob, who really, really excites him (see here if you don’t believe me). Dax’s unusual intensity has led some to speculate he’s autistic. Others are convinced it’s all a lonelygirl15-type fiction—particularly this impassioned guy, who certainly seems to have done his homework. Says listener Victor, who kindly brought this phenomenon to our attention, “I want to believe it’s real.” Well, it’s real in the sense that it exists, and whether he’s sincere or not-so, Dax is a unique boy with a story of wanting to belong that anyone could relate to. Right? What do you make of it all? —JQS

A little something extra after the jump: Jacob comes to Dax’s to study while the camera rolls.

Single White Homo- the youtube movie. Of course it’s fake.
Who tucks a suit into their pants?
It’s pretty funny though and kudos for his creativity.

The guy who wants to disprove him is totally
in love with him. What a great find.

So fake and so funny! Autistic dax is not. Funny and creative he is. Autistic kids could care less who’s their friends. They are more interested in specific behavior, regardless if it conforms to social norms.

here here, very creative and imaginative, not autistic, if the first one isnt enough to convince you its fake, the second is so fake

I like foundmyrosebud01 on youtube he makes responses to daxflame in this crazy beard… check out his reenactment of dax’s latest videro here http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MISgSpEHmoc

I found this online:

Dax Flame Exposed Part III

Dax Flame’s 100% fake, phony, and a thief. I’ll go over the 10 minutes of this film so you won’t have to.

1. Daxflame aka Dax Patrello’s is in a picture with his sister Dylan Patrello and his dad Jeff Patrello. Jeff Patrello also coincidently regestered Daxflame.com recently. Dylan Patrello goes to Boston’s Berklee College of Music with several friends who also coincidently make lots of video responses to Daxflame’s videos, playing along with the scheme.

2. Dylan Patrello’s has a youtube video series as well doing low budget fake commercials. She often uses “Jacob” in several of them. While Utubedrama notes that several parts of the house are similar to where Daxflame does his videos, the evidence isn’t incredibly rock solid.

3. Shawn Patrello, Jeff Patrello’s brother has a hand in several young comedy and talent agencies in Texas. They are all listed in the film. Some of which Dylan Patrello just happen to be apart of.

4. This is why Daxflame pisses me off and a few other stand up comedians I am friends with in the comedy club I do stand up in. This —-tard is stealing skits, jokes, and routines from more popular comedians. The most obvious being Sarah Silverman’s “resmarted” line. You can watch her original “resmarted” song here that Dax Patrello swiped it from. Sarah Silverman’s Pilot Episode We spend a lot of time writing —- trying to get it right but some 19 year old —-tard swiping our —- and getting famous off of it is plain thievery.

In closing, he’s NOT a great actor. Pay attention to his videos, he constantly looks to the side, even breaks character during some of his vlogs. Most obvious one being with “Jacob” and he’s really a wannabe Tom Green. Support actors and comedians with real talent for writing and performing their own art. Not ones that steal other people’s —- and troll on youtube for 15 minutes of fame.

Here’s another more melodramatic exposé:

http://madisonpatrello.com/

wow. i watched a couple videos and they seemed really interesting and then i saw the one above with jacob and it was just so fake. i don’t need any more evidence. but there was a good idea in there. don’t know why they had to try to make it seem real. why can’t people just be creative and not try to trick and gimmick and deceive? there must be some more sincere way to pull off such an interesting concept without attempting hard-to-do fakery. sometimes fakery is great too, but it requires much more skill to pull off, certainly. the coyote spirit is a demanding master.
