Pageant Contestant Stacy Hedger: “Star Wars”

This clip’s many pleasures are obvious—my favorite is the audience’s reaction at the end: stunned silence. Thank you to listener David for the clip.

I can’t stop watching it!!

Damn! Miss Dupree is my hero!

MISS DUPREE FOR PRESIDENT.

That was the messiest thing I have ever seen and I seen http://www.splosh.co.uk before… but damn she’s a trooper. Do you think she found out at about 10 pm the night before there is a talent portion and in her panic decided on this?

The first one was sad…but the second one was just fun!

It just needed one more jump split… I probably would have needed that exit after about the 3rd one. Wow!

Holy living mother of God on a popsicle stick. She really dances like a superhero!!! I mean, OUCH! Except when she danced like a stripper of course.

But yes, agreed, best entrance in the history of show biz. Even better than the time I saw Steven Wright make his entrance sitting backwards on a bike…like, sitting on the handlebars facing backwards and peddling to go forward blindly.
