“We Are the World” by Japanese celebrity impersonators

Their Kim Carnes (her lyric: “when we”) is particularly inaccurate. Thank you, listener David, for the tip!

Similarly: “Something to Believe In,” a “We Are the World” parody by the Ramones, starring impersonators plus actual punk-rockish West Coast luminaries including Rodney Bingenheimer, John & Exene from X, Mary Woronov, Toni Basil, Spinal Tap, Sparks, and more!

How wonderfully insane! This is the craziest thing I’ve seen all week long. WOW. Love the blackface Lionel Ritchie impersonator and the whiteface Cyndi Lauper.

I can’t believe I’m watching Asians in blackface.

OMG! That is hysterical! Their Cyndi Lauper had me in stitches!

Oh, and btw, that’s not Kim Carnes, it’s Tina Turner.

Hey guys! I just found this and thought of you!
