More Vaseline Please!

Singer Barbara Dickson performs her 1977 hit single “Another Suitcase In Another Hall” from Evita with Pete Zorn on sax.

I’m not sure why Barbara thought it would be a good idea behind smear the lens with Vaseline. I can only guess that she wasn’t feeling pretty that day or they were trying to
create some sort of dream sequence. Please let me now why you think they went in this artistic direction.

It was the 70s, enough said, lol.

I am sure it was all about mood and trying to give a different look. The song is rather blah and maybe the creative force behind the video thought this gave it an “edge”.

Campy goodness. Oh, speaking of which, this is an amazing clip from Youtube featuring Bea Arthur and Nell Carter in NBC’s fall promotional program from 1986:

BTW, Mark, you had mentioned about coming up to Michigan this weekend…we have a full house, so we won’t be able to do it. We still want to have you guys up. I’ll talk to Jack about it. Talk to you soon.

Here’s the video:

I’d love to go this weekend and see Regina give up her tiara but I don’t think its going to happen. We’ll definitely do it sometime this summer.

OH MY GOD!!!! I know that Nell Carter spent a lot of time on broadway but my goodness, she is sure nasal-ly. I loved it!!!
