It’s pretty predicatble, don’t oyu think? So a gay guy gets banged and then is scared he got HIV. I’m not sure what this video is trying to accomplish, and it always pisses me off when I see black people as the kind, patient, almost angelic friends to these self-absorbed white folks.

LOL at the Magical Negro, which never occured to me until now! But it’s really true. I always find it fascinating how shows can be so PC and the world so far from it.

But back to the topic: I actually enjoyed this vid, and even though the main character has a lifestyle slightly further from mine I can relate to a lot of it. It’s discussed in very harsh terms on YouTube, and they bring up a lot of the issues that come up in every such hiv debate - who has the responsibility to tell, and why, and when, and how, and so on.

Hmmm Magical Homos… Aren’t all homos magical? Thats why they call us fairies! This makes me think of that TV show The Five Maids… wait… its called Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.
Did the Magical semi-positive image works for racial equality? No. So where is our MLK?

I really enjoyed this video. This topic was also discussed on “Queer As Folk” and “Noah’s Arc”. In my opinion everyone is equally responsible to ask and tell. If you are negative and don’t ask, then you don’t want to know because the guy is so hot. If you are positive and don’t tell, you need to participate more in HIV programs at GMHC to accept your status as a part of your life.
Online profiles have an area to disclose your status. Use it and take responsibility for your life.

Very informative and honest. In my mind it is a two way street. The Josh guy, has the right to ask and the right not to ask. The other guy, Eric has the right to tell and not to tell. In the end in my opinion its really up to the both of them to be open and comfortable enough to ask. I asked my partner even though I knew he was a virgin and so was I and we both got tested anyway. And we are glad we did, b/c even though we both waited till we found each other we still felt the need to be that honest and open with one another to get tested anyway. If for anything, to help form that bond of trust you need to make a long term relationship both work and last. I love this video and plan to share with all my other gay and str8 friends. B/c this is important and shouldn’t be ignored. Sex is great, but it is also dangerous, you have to be responsible and honest. Thanks for sharing Fausto!
